Day Schildkret of Morning Altars is proud to bring his imaginative and inspiring work to Victoria with a workshop for the entire family and particularly for the kids!

Earth Art is a perfect hands-on experience for families that is part creative expression, part mindfulness technique, and part nature connection. Each step of this experience offers an innovative way to slow down the whole family and open everyone to a sense of wonder, listening, curiosity, creativity, meaning-making and letting go. This ancient ritual and expression connects participants with the land and their imaginations; inviting them to play and to explore the profound meaning of creating art.

Day’s Family workshop in Victoria will be taking place at the beautiful Mary Lake Nature Sanctuary which lies within the traditional territories of the WSÁNEC (Saanich) Coast Salish Peoples. We are thrilled for the opportunity to bring together people of all ages to commune with the spirit of this special land, create earth art, and feel the cords of healthy community getting stronger and brighter.
