In these troubled times of high speed, distraction, and disconnection, we need to learn how to slow down again and ritually make beauty out of our life transitions.
Nature and art are the perfect tools for connecting us back to our sense of belonging. They clear our busy minds, transform challenging emotions, open us to our innate creativity, bring more meaning and make us more resilient to change.
Join renowned earth artist and Morning Altars creator Day Schildkret for a workshop immersion in this enriching seven-step practice. He’ll teach you how to create personal earth altars and experience the power of art and nature to make beauty from/for our life's transitions.
During this workshop, you will:
Experience "radical amazement" with nature that is a proven antidote to depression.
Collaborate with nature to express your heart and tell the stories of your life through patterns, symmetry, and art
Learn techniques for making earth altars and how to use them as tools for personal creative expression and connection with nature
Explore how the smallest and simplest of creations is the very thing that can nourish our souls.
Tickets are $65 (lunch is included and will be served at Pavilion #4)
