Letting Go Into The Waters of Life: Tashlich Ritual & Earth Altar Workshop

What are you carrying that is no longer serving you? What from your past year do you not want to bring with you into the next?

Join Day Schildkret, internationally renowned earth artist, author, and Lab/Shul's Artist-in-Residence for AWE: High Holy Days 2019 / 5780, along with Lab/Shul's Artistic Director Ezra Jesse Bookman, for a special encounter with Tashlich - the ancient Judeo-pagan new year ritual of releasing the past and casting off our baggage into a body of water.

Day's groundbreaking work provides a fun, simple, approachable way to cultivate awe and embrace the beauty of impermanence. Together we'll learn techniques and tips for creating impermanent earth art, then build our own earth altars to process the year, remember what we have forgotten, set intentions, and let it all go into the waters of life.

All faiths and all bodies are welcome, ages 13+. Please note this gathering will require walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time.
