2 Morning Altars events at Butte College for Earth Day celebrations! 

On Wednesday, April 19th from 6:30p-8:30p, join internationally acclaimed earth artist and teacher, Day Schildkret for a not-to-be-missed talk on his 7 steps to create an earth altar as a daily practice to feed life. Deeply moving, informative and beautiful, crafting earth altars is an ancient practice found in many cultures to honor milestones, process hard emotion, connect with the land and ancestry, and just bring more beauty to our lives. On Thursday, April 20th from 9a-2p, come to Butte College campus and witness a large scale Morning Altar built in the center of the Earth Day festival. Made of all locally foraged material from around Chico, this impermanent earth art will be a beautiful site not to be missed.
